Visual Anything is built so your graphs stay yours. They are stored on your own computer, and we never receive them. This page explains the few things that do leave your device, and only when you use the features that need them.
Who is responsible
Visual Anything is provided by Duc Vu, an individual in Canada, who is responsible for the information described on this page. You can reach us at the address at the bottom of this page.
Your graphs and notes
Projects, notes and settings are saved on your device (in the app, or in your browser's storage on the website). There are no accounts for your graphs and no cloud sync. Backups are files you export yourself.
Connecting sources
- Folders and Obsidian vaults are read on your computer. Nothing is uploaded.
- GitHub repositories are read directly from GitHub by your device (public repositories only). We do not see which repositories you open.
- The Obsidian plugin reads only your notes' names, folders and links, never their text, and sends nothing anywhere.
Ask AI (optional)
- To use Ask AI you sign in with Google. We keep your email address and an account ID, only to count your daily allowance and to link a Pro subscription.
- When you send a request, the words you type, any files you attach and, when changing an open graph, its titles and structure are sent to our server and to Anthropic, the maker of Claude, which writes the answer. Anthropic processes this under its commercial API terms and does not use it to train its models.
- We keep a usage record for each request (the time, its size, token counts and whether it worked), not what you asked or the answer.
Payments
Pro is paid through Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and whether your plan is active.
Services we use
Only for the features above, and only what each one needs:
- Google: sign-in for Ask AI.
- Supabase: our server and database (your account ID, email, usage records and plan).
- Anthropic (Claude): writes Ask AI's answers from what you send.
- Stripe: payments for Pro.
- Cloudflare: hosts the website. Like any web host it handles your IP address to deliver pages; we keep no visit logs.
What we don't do
No ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies, and we never sell your information or share it beyond the services listed above. The website and app use your device's own storage for your projects and settings, not tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. Google's sign-in sets its own cookies only when you choose to sign in.
How long we keep it
Your account and usage records are kept while you use Ask AI and deleted when you ask us to delete your account. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. Settings › Usage already shows your own AI usage.
Deleting your information
Delete projects in the app at any time. To delete your Ask AI account and its usage records, contact us. Cancelling Pro is done from Settings › Ask AI plan › Manage.
Children
Visual Anything is not directed to children under 13, and Ask AI is only for people 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe a child has signed in, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Important changes will be announced in the app.
