Your data is safe
Effective 22 October 2026
Visual Anything is built so there is very little to protect in the first place. Your graphs and notes are stored only on your computer, and our servers hold almost nothing about you.
Your graphs stay on your computer
Graphs and notes are stored only on your computer. There are no accounts and no cloud sync. Visual Anything works without the internet, except for Ask AI and connecting GitHub repositories.
Ask AI is optional
- Ask AI needs a free Google sign-in, only so we can count your daily requests.
- When you use it, only what you type, any files you attach and the open graph's titles are sent, through our server, to Anthropic's Claude model.
- We don't store what you ask or the answers. We only keep a small usage record for each request (its time and size), to apply the daily limits.
Payments
Pro ($4/month) is paid through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
What our servers hold
For people who signed in for Ask AI: their Google email address, their daily usage counts, and whether they have Pro. That's all.
So even if our servers were broken into, nobody could get your graphs, notes or card details. At most, they would get an email address.
The Claude connector (desktop app)
The desktop app can let Claude Desktop or Claude Code control your graphs. This connector is off by default. When you turn it on, it listens only on your own computer (127.0.0.1) and needs a secret key.
The basics
- HTTPS everywhere.
- Strict browser security headers on every page.
- Database rows locked so only their owner can reach them.
Report a problem
If you think you've found a security problem, email support@visualanything.com. We read every message.
